"True colours" can be achieved markless with the IDS-3D
IDS-3D is a fully automatic image based colour measuring and control system for web offset presses that also detects failures in print. All functionalities are executed with joint intelligence and in markless mode. The printed colours are monitored in real time and the ink keys are automatically adjusted if there is any deviation. Dampening can also be controlled by IDS-3D.
The ultimate result realised by IDS-3D is reproduction with absolute colour and optional register stability in products independent of job, printing company or press. This with minimum waste and labour, but maximum efficiency, which allows customers to be more competitive.
